After the first visit to the Fray Ramón Panes School in January, the Fray Ramón School vegetable garden has been successfully implemented by the students themselves with the coordination of Cristiana. The students are already seeing with their own eyes the benefits and importance of small vegetable gardens with organic, healthy food planted and harvested by themselves.
Since its inception the program has created a total of 26 vegetable gardens across the country in the provinces of Santo Domingo, Santiago, San Cristobal, Baní, Monte Plata, and Azua.
