Garden Workshops in Secondary Schools/ Initial obstacles/ Women's Association Gardens

The program has been prospering and reaching more schools and students who need it. The objective of the program is for students to learn how to communally grow their own organic, healthy food in these school vegetable gardens. These small vegetable gardens can be planted on small plots of land.

Since its inception the program has created a total of 26 vegetable gardens across the country in the provinces of Santo Domingo, Santiago, San Cristobal, Baní, Monte Plata, and Azua.
